A buttery rich delicious packed with nuts, coconut, white chocolate and very festive for the holiday season!


The kids are sure to be nice and not naughty while baking. The Christmas elf gets a glance at them first to make sure they are good for Santa's arrival. A great time of the year to make them.

They are an all time kesukaane cookie on the Christmas tray! Remember just leave out the coloring if you don't like it for a natural look.

 Also they are delicious all year long leaving all the festive additions out and keeping them  natural in cookie dough in color.







Macadamia Coconut Chip Cookies

2 1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup softened butter
2 eggs
1 cup chopped macadamia nut
1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
3/4 cup coconut put through the food processor
Optional: 3 drops green food coloring Candied cherries cut up coconut flavoring (I used coconut oil)
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Garnish: Powdered Sugar

Preheat panggangan to 350 degrees.

Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. In an electric mixer, cream the sugars and butter till light. Add the eggs.

Slowly blend in the flour, salt, baking soda and food coloring if using. Stir in the rest of the ingredients.

Roll into balls. Put cherry on each one. Place on prepared cookie sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes still edges are brown tops are set.

Cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
